Wow....this month has been nuts so far and it's just half over! Over the 4th, I did my good deed for the month. I saved my 9 yr old niece from an eye injury/face burn....she had been given explosive party poppers w/out supervision and proceeded to aim it 2-4 inches from her eyes (looking directly into it) and began pulling the string. Thankfully I averted the disaster! She is a lovely child with a beautiful face and she doesn't need more emergency room visits. :-)
I have been making LOTS of beads. The response to the newspaper article about my upcoming show at the local art gallery has been amazing. I hope to bring a lot of new bracelets and earrings and pendants. Since I still have the day job, that means lots of my home time is at the torch for the next 2 weeks.
Just got back from Great Wolf Lodge in Mason OH.........it was a fun visit. Waterpark hotel with a 9 yr old.....so I am now officially tired. :-)
